Flint ("we", "our", or "the app") is developed by Adam Kaminski. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Flint mobile application.

Information We Collect

Flint is designed with privacy in mind. We collect as little data as possible.

• Voice Input: When you use the voice brain dump feature, audio is processed by Apple's on-device or cloud-based speech recognition. We do not record, store, or transmit your audio. Only the transcribed text is saved locally on your device.
• Task and Brain Dump Data: All tasks, brain dumps, and statistics are stored locally on your device using a local database. This data never leaves your device.
• Subscription Data: If you subscribe to Flint Pro, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive only a confirmation of your subscription status through RevenueCat, our subscription management service. We do not have access to your payment details.
• Push Notifications: If you enable notifications, Apple assigns a device token. We use this only to deliver local notifications (Time Pulse reminders). We do not send remote push notifications or share this token.

Data Storage

All your personal data (tasks, brain dumps, focus session history, and settings) is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers or cloud databases. If you delete the app, all local data is permanently removed.

Third-Party Services

• RevenueCat: Used to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and subscription status from Apple. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Apple Speech Recognition: Used for voice-to-text transcription. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email, or account information
• We do not track your location
• We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs
• We do not sell or share any data with third parties
• We do not use cookies or tracking technologies

Children's Privacy

Flint is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
