1. INTRODUCTION

Migraine Map ("we," "our," or "the App") is developed by Kaminski Performance. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS application.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

2.1 Health Data You Provide

When you use Migraine Map, you may voluntarily enter:

Migraine logs (severity, pain location, symptoms, pre-symptoms, duration, medications, notes)
Food and drink logs (meal type, food name, trigger categories)
Daily tracking data (sleep hours/quality, stress level, hydration, exercise, screen time, menstrual day)

All health data is stored locally on your device. We do not transmit, upload, or store your health information on any external server.

2.2 Location Data

With your explicit permission, we access your approximate location solely to retrieve weather data (barometric pressure, humidity, temperature) from the Open-Meteo weather API. Location coordinates are used transiently for the API request and are never stored or transmitted to our servers.

2.3 Weather Data

Weather conditions at the time of migraine logging are fetched from Open-Meteo (a free, open-source weather API) and stored locally alongside your migraine log to help identify weather-related triggers.

2.4 Subscription Information

If you purchase a subscription, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID to verify your entitlements. We do not have access to your payment details, credit card information, or Apple ID.

2.5 Error Reporting

We use Sentry for crash and error reporting. Sentry may collect device information (model, OS version), app version, and anonymous crash data. No personal health data is included in error reports.

Your health data never leaves your device. We employ a local-first architecture, meaning all migraine logs, food logs, and daily tracking data are stored exclusively in a local SQLite database protected by iOS Data Protection.

4. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

Pattern Analysis: Your locally-stored data is analyzed on-device to identify potential migraine triggers and correlations.
Weather Correlation: Weather data is paired with migraine logs to detect pressure/humidity patterns.
Reminders: Local notifications remind you to complete daily check-ins. Notification preferences are stored on-device.

6. DATA SHARING

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or health data with any third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

7. YOUR RIGHTS

Delete Your Data: You can delete all app data from Settings within the app, or by uninstalling the app.
Location Permission: You can revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings. Weather tracking will be disabled.
Notification Permission: You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Migraine Map is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER

Migraine Map is a tracking and pattern-identification tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical guidance.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
